How you can help

In Memoriam

Relatives and friends wishing to commemorate a life can make a donation to APT.  Not only will your donation be a tribute to your loved one but it will also make a huge difference to the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable families.

You could celebrate a loved one’s life in many ways.

A gift of:

Memory Box£10 could provide a memory box for an African orphan to treasure and keep safe mementos of beloved parents or grandparents.

Solar drying£20 could enable a woman in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania to start her own small business by solar drying hibiscus to make Rosella, the local healthy drink.

Betty£100 could help a special young person, who has survived the horrors of war, put respect and dignity back in their life, and with training help to lead their communities to peace, security and prosperity.

Betty (pictured) was a child at primary school when the rebel army kidnapped her. Now a widow with 5 children, through APT’s project she has received training and is aiming to become ‘a leader of women’.

Your donation might be specifically in memory of the person or a gift in lieu of flowers at a funeral or perhaps a yearly event on a special anniversary.
